Terms of service
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms apply when an organisation uses StiqaSpace services: websites, hosting, email, domains, support, the client dashboard and anything else we agree to provide. By signing a quote, accepting an order or using the services, your organisation agrees to these terms. If a signed agreement or quote says something different, that document wins for that point.
"We" means StiqaSpace. "You" means the client organisation and the people it allows to use the dashboard.
Your account
- You choose who in your organisation can use the dashboard and what they can see and do. You're responsible for what happens under your organisation's account and for removing people who leave.
- Keep sign-in details private and tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.
- Make sure the contact and billing details we hold for you are correct.
Our services
- Each service, its allowances (such as number of websites, mailboxes or storage) and its price are set out in your quote, order or plan, and shown in your dashboard.
- We'll provide the services with reasonable skill and care. We keep websites and systems updated, monitored and backed up, but we can't promise they'll be available all the time. We'll try to do planned maintenance at quiet times and tell you in advance when it may cause disruption.
- Backups are there to help us recover from problems. Keep your own copies of anything important to you.
- Support requests go through the dashboard. We'll respond as quickly as we reasonably can and keep you updated.
Fees, invoices and renewals
- Prices are shown before you order. Taxes such as VAT are added where they apply.
- Invoices are due within 14 days unless your quote or invoice says otherwise.
- Recurring services renew automatically for the same period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before the renewal date. Some yearly services renew on your organisation's renewal date, so the first invoice may cover part of a year.
- Domain names renew on their own registration date. If a renewal isn't paid in time, the domain may expire and could be lost.
- If we need to change the price of a service you already have, we'll tell you in advance and ask you to approve the new price before it applies.
- If an invoice is overdue, we'll remind you. If it stays unpaid, we may pause the service after giving you notice, and restart it once the invoice is paid.
Wallet, coins and referrals
- Your wallet can hold reward coins and platform credit. Both can only be spent on our services. They have no cash value and can't be withdrawn, refunded as cash or transferred to another organisation.
- Coins are a reward, for example when an organisation you refer pays its first invoice. They expire after the period shown in your dashboard, and can cover only part of an invoice, up to the limit shown when you apply them.
- We may change or end the referral and reward programme for the future. Coins you've already earned stay usable until they expire.
Your content and acceptable use
- You own the content of your websites, forms and mailboxes. You give us permission to store, copy, back up and display it as needed to provide the services.
- You're responsible for that content and for having the right to use it, including images, text and any personal details it contains.
- You must not use the services to break the law, send spam, spread malware, attack other systems, or host content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights or is abusive.
- If a website or mailbox is causing harm (for example it has been hacked or is sending spam), we may pause it straight away to protect you and others, and we'll tell you why.
Domains
Domain names are registered in your organisation's name where possible and remain yours. Registrars require accurate owner details, and their own rules apply to each domain. If you move a domain elsewhere, we'll help with the transfer once any outstanding invoices for it are paid.
Personal details
Our Privacy notice explains how we handle personal details. For personal details inside your websites and mailboxes, we act only on your instructions, keep them confidential and secure, use trusted service providers bound by the same duties, help you respond to requests from the people concerned, tell you without undue delay about any breach that affects them, and delete or return them when the service ends.
Ending a service
- You can cancel a recurring service at any time from the next renewal date by telling us through the dashboard. Fees already paid for the current period aren't refundable unless the law requires it or we agree otherwise.
- We can end a service with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or don't pay after reminders.
- When a service ends, we'll give you a reasonable chance to download your website, files and email, or help move them, before they're deleted.
Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
- Otherwise, we're not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost business or lost data you could have restored from your own copies.
- Our total responsibility in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected service in that period.
Changes and general terms
- We may update these terms. We'll tell you about important changes at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel the affected services before the change.
- If one part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts deal with any dispute, unless your signed agreement says otherwise.
